As you may have notices already, it’s really important to us to create kind of personal live demos for our WordPress themes. And we always have such a fun time getting creative and think of some new photo ideas and stories for our live demo blog posts. I would love to have my own personal blog as well and write about food, travels and personal things. Hopefully I can make this dream come true in the next couple of month, but I want to make sure that I will have the time to maintain the blog and write new content often. So for now we enjoy to “get wild” in our live demos and write, take pictures and do some art or graphic work to present our new themes to you :)

What should I pack for a creative day outside, maybe writing and sketching some ideas and getting away from the computer for a while. Well, I would take my camera, a book by Seth Godin, my little notebook and a pencil. And to stay comfortable while maybe sitting in a park, I would also need my KeepCup for a Coffee to Go and my favorite jeans and sneakers. I have to admit that, if I thought of lavender for a long time, I could only think of an old closet, since lavender is ofter used against clothes moths. But since we live right next to a huge field of fresh lavender it always reminds me of summer now and I love the smell and the colors of course. So I recently picked up a whole bunch of fresh lavender and I really loved the smell inside the house, too. It actually smells very warm and dry and instantly reminds me of the sun and of summer. So I definitely want to give lavender another try and see it as a lovely summer flower and not only as a closet smell against moths :)
I’ve been ask a couple of times to share my work space, so here is a little post to show you how or better where I work and what things are important to me while working. Since I spend a lot of time on my computer and work desk (my mum would say too much…) I try to make my work space as inspirational an comfortable as possible. So I love to have light colors and some creative things around me, like a notebook, inspirational design magazines, post cards and pictures and drawing materials (pencils, a notebook etc.).
Oh, sometimes I really really love to drink a cup of hot coffee and maybe eat something sweet together with it. So when my mum baked her famous vegan chocolate cake for us, I couldn’t resist to eat a piece of cake with a hot vanilla soy milk coffee as breakfast the next day. Sooo yummy… And yes I know, I shouldn’t drink too much coffee, but once in a while the sweet taste of the cake in combination with the slightly bitter task of coffee is just the best!
Tokyo is such an amazing city and we always wanted to visit it. Last year we finally had the time and the money for a trip to Japan and we started our trip with five days in Tokyo. Of course five days are way too short and we could only catch a glimpse of the city during our stay. But we loved every minute of it and we already dreaming of coming back one day. We stayed in a lovely little hotel just a few train stations away from Shibuya station and were able to get around the city pretty easy. The train system in Tokyo is amazing, although crowded at times. But it’s actually pretty easy to find your way around. We also loved it to just stroll around the different neighborhoods, eat in local cafés and small restaurants and just watch, watch watch…
