I love cup cakes, yes, of course, I love muffins, too and I got into baking vegan muffins lately. But this tiny beautiful, much smaller cup cakes are just amazing. We found a lovely café lately, selling vegan bakery and it was so delicious the café got really crowded. This cup cake in the picture was a cinnamon cup cake with a soft and yummy cream on top. Soooo delicious, I have to try this at home some time.
Raw Asian-style Kale Salad with Sesame
Yum, yum, yum, is all I can say about this amazing kale salad. I tried the salad first at a raw food restaurant and then made my own style recipe at home. The salad is best with a lemon, sesame dressing and you can add Asian glass noodles, soy beans, crisp nori and small slices of mango to it, too.
A Hot Cuppa on a Saturday
I’m not really sure, if I even use the word “cuppa” right, but I think it’s just a cute word and I saw it being used on Twitter lately. I think traditionally it rather means the old-fashioned English black tea with milk or maybe lemon. I prepare more fruit-based teas so this orange tea with a dried whole slice of orange just made my day!
My Creative Writing Day
As a little kid back in school I loved writing class, but at university can also when we first started blogging in 2009 I had such a hard time to write and I always thought I’m not good at it at all. I even took a creative writing course at university once, but I always felt afraid to sound silly or childish. Now I enjoy writing again and I plan to start our Elmastudio blog with lots more new posts starting from the new year.
To accomplish this new task I plan one whole writing day per week. Of course I will still have to do emails and some support during this day, but the main work task for this one day per week will be creative writing or writing a new blog post. I’m so happy with this new solution, since I really struggled for find the time for writing in the last couple of months.
